Emergencies: In the event of an emergency, please contact Dr. Peters at 410-337-7525 during the day, 410-825-3386 or 443-652-2231 in the evening or on weekends. If Dr. Peters is not immediately available and emergency treatment is required, please go to the nearest emergency room and request that he be called.
Appointments: To schedule an initial appointment, please call 410-337-7525.
Inclement Weather: Please call 410-337-7525 to inquire about office closings during inclement weather.
Cancellation Policy: There will be a regular charge for all cancelled or missed sessions unless your appointment is cancelled and rescheduled with at least three weekdays notice or your reserved appointment time is filled in your absence.
Medication: Please do not use AUTOMATIC REFILL. "Automatic refill" triggers calls to the office that are not authorized by the patient. Request refills when needed, if no refills remain on your current prescription, by calling Dr. Peters directly. Please take all medications only as prescribed.
If the need arises to take medication prescribed by another physician, please advise Dr. Peters before beginning. Please report any adverse side effects from medication immediately and always feel free to ask any questions you may have regarding your prescriptions.
Do not assume that it is safe to become pregnant on any medication without first checking with Dr. Peters or your obstetrician.
Payment: As part of the 2022 Federal guidelines under the No Surprises Act, there is to be transparency about fees for services rendered. The intake fee for a new client is $285 and each 45 minute therapy session after the intake is $225. 15 Minute medication appointments are $125. Total cost will be determined by the type, number and frequency of appointments
Thank you for being prepared to pay for your appointments in full by check or cash at the time that you are seen. There is a $25.00 charge for returned checks.
This practice does not accept credit cards.
You may be able to submit receipts to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement.
This practice does not accept direct insurance payment.
Dr. Peters is an "Opted-Out" physician with Medicare. While you may be able to submit receipts to your secondary carrier, you may not submit claims to Medicare.
